“General bug fixes” doesn’t tell the story. Here you’ll find detailed release notes for every version — performance, new features, bug fixes, and design improvements.
There was a problem with fast input of amounts on some iOS devices. The problem has been resolved.
There were problems with animated graphics in certain group constellations. For example, shared cash registers were not displayed. This problem has also been fixed. A tooltip within the graphic "Who has paid the most frequently" now shows details about the participant.
Optimization when creating new participants to avoid duplicate initials.
Since currently no trips are possible, Cashinator has been redesigned to make your life as easy as possible at home. In addition to trips, you can now also create universal groups - perfect for your household expenses, the shared flat, shopping, your own projects, the barbecue party or planning expenses for renovation, the next wedding or birthday party.
New beautiful animated graphics show you the temporal course of expenses over days, weeks or months. You can now see in a much nicer way who has spent how much money and who has paid the most frequently. Daily, weekly and monthly averages are now also available.
Single User Mode: Although Cashinator is still optimized for groups and trips, you can now use it even when you are alone or just want to keep track of your own money at home. You finally have full control over your expenses. Especially in these difficult times, this is more than useful.
The currency exchange rates can now be customized to your liking. So if you want to be very precise, set the exact rates of the exchange office before entering the expenses.
Custom categories can now also be transferred to other trips. This is implemented in a way that does not negatively affect the overview and usability of Cashinators.
Depending on your preference, your trips and purchases are now backed up in iCloud, so you can continue where you left off after reinstalling on the same or a different device. You don't have to worry about anything, Cashinator takes care of it for you. After a reinstallation, Cashinator will ask if you want to restore your data.
In addition, some minor internal bugs have been fixed and a few pages have been optimized for you: You can now add new categories while creating expenses, the date is displayed on the PDF, and you can finally create expenses that are far in the future.
Your wish finally comes true - the possibility of unequal distribution of an expense among the participants is here! If necessary, when creating an expense, you can now define how the expense should be divided among you. This finally saves you the hassle of creating multiple expenses.
Please note that every participant in your trip must update to the latest version of Cashinators to use the feature correctly!
In addition, minor bugs have been fixed, especially regarding synchronization and editing of existing expenses.
