Cashinator 7.4 speaks more languages!

Cashinator is becoming more international: Spanish, French and Italian are now available as the first new languages. This update also introduces a new compact mode for the expense list, improves input handling and animations, and includes numerous fixes and refinements throughout the app.

New & improved:

• Spanish, French & Italian: Cashinator is now available in three additional languages.
• Compact expense list: The new compact mode lets you fit more expenses on the screen at once.
• Language & amount formatting: On first launch, Cashinator now detects your language and regional settings for amount formatting more reliably from the operating system.
• Input autocorrection: Text inputs now support autocorrection for a more convenient typing experience.
• Improved animations: Animations on the transaction page have been reworked for a smoother experience.
• More flexible shares: A default share of zero can now be assigned to participants.
• Clearer balances: Cashinator now explains one-cent differences in balances caused by rounding.
• Consistent participant order: The distribution screen now uses the same participant order as the “For whom” screen.

Bug fixes:

• Offline journeys: Fixed an issue that could prevent new journeys from being created while offline.
• Calendar: Fixed an issue that could occasionally cause the calendar to disappear.
• Tablet inputs: Fixed issues with entering text in dialogs and windows on tablets.
• Larger system fonts: Fixed display issues on devices configured to use larger font sizes.
• Amount display: Removed the odometer animation after it caused incorrect amount displays on some devices.
• Statistics: Fixed issues related to window handling in the statistics views.
• Translations: Fixed several translation errors and inconsistencies.

Cashinator 7.3.4 is a bug fix update!

This release focuses exclusively on bug fixes and stability improvements. No new features have been added. Thank you for all your feedback – it helps make Cashinator more reliable with every update.

Bug fixes:

• Tapping the X button on an empty journey image no longer opens the statistics screen instead of removing the image.
• Opening the location selection dialog for an expense could, in certain situations, unintentionally remove the previously selected city.
• If a journey administrator accidentally rejoined the same journey using its invitation code, they could lock themselves out when the journey was configured with read-only permissions.

Cashinator 7.3.3 makes the expense list faster and more reliable!

This update mainly focuses on fixing lots of small issues and polishing existing features. In addition, we've significantly improved the performance of the expense list. Journeys with a large number of expenses and older smartphones now benefit from noticeably smoother scrolling.

Improvements:

• Better performance: The expense list and infinite scrolling are now significantly faster, especially for large journeys and older smartphones.
• Address book for postcards: When sending postcards, you can now import the recipient's address from your address book with a single tap. That means a premium-quality postcard with your own vacation photo and a real stamp can be sent in just a few seconds.
• Hide future expenses: You can now hide future expenses in the expense list settings, so opening the list takes you straight to today's latest entries.

Bug fixes:

• Filtering by an exact amount now correctly accepts negative values and zero.
• Amount range filters now correctly include both boundary values.
• Newly created expenses now appear immediately.
• Attached expense photos are now displayed immediately after being added.
• Offline warnings are no longer shown when the device is actually online.
• All details are now visible when expanding an expense.
• The activity log now consistently refers to "you" when your device is assigned to a participant.
• Relative time strings are now fully translated into English.
• Duplicating an expense no longer creates occasional duplicate copies.
• Android: Updated to the latest Google Billing Library.

It's not only something you'll enjoy, but also a wonderful surprise for your friends and family back home. No registration, no additional app required. And with a little luck, you can even send one for free!

Postcards:

• Real postcards: Send personalized postcards using your own vacation photo.
• In just three steps: Choose a photo, write your personal message and enter the recipient's address.
• Worldwide delivery: Your postcard is printed, stamped with a real postage stamp and delivered worldwide.
• Free postcards: Cashinator gives away a limited number of free postcards every day.

Bug fixes:

• Dark Mode: Fixed several display issues.

Cashinator 7.3.1 unlocks free postcards and fixes minor issues.

Cashinator 7.3.2 improves search and enhances the postcard feature:

• Improved live search in the expense list and filters.
• Quickly fill in the recipient's address using your address book.
• Preview your finished postcard before sending it.
• Minor bug fixes and improvements.

P.S. Don't worry – we won't bug you about it. If you don't want to see postcard suggestions, you can disable the feature at any time in the settings. One click—and it's gone.

Cashinator 7.2 makes every journey even more enjoyable!

This update brings more personality, more control, and several important refinements.

• Journey and group pictures: Give your journeys and groups a personal touch with custom images. No more dry, boring calculations.
• Who are you? You can now define who you are in Cashinator in the settings, allowing the app to tailor the experience even more to you.

Polish & improvements:

• Modernized solo journeys: The experience for solo travelers has been refreshed and feels even cleaner and more organized.
• Bug fixes: Several issues introduced with version 7.1 have been resolved, especially around scrolling and loading images on the expenses page.

Version 7.2.1 also includes further improvements to photo loading, ensuring that new photos are displayed without delay.
