Features

• App Shortcuts: Quickly start new expenses, journeys, or invites directly from the app icon.
• Synchronization: All participants of a journey now automatically use the same home currency – ensuring consistent and error-free balances.
• Icons: Choose your own icons for your journeys.
• Journey handling: Improved pages for creating journeys & clearer messaging when deleting the last one.

Small number, huge update!

We’ve listened to your feedback again – and here’s everything that’s new:

Data transfer & copies:

• The new journey in 10 seconds: Import everything from an existing journey: participants, households, categories, budgets, payment methods, recurring payments, group and shared wallets.
  
• Fully copy journeys: Swipe to duplicate an existing journey. Perfect for those traveling again with the same family – or those who don’t want to re-enter recurring expenses like a Netflix subscription every year.

Shared wallets:

• Transfers: Intuitively move money between group wallets or purses.

Bug fixes:

• Issues syncing journeys with certain emojis? Yep. That happened. But it’s fixed now!
• Recurring expenses that start in the future will now only be included in the balance from their start date.
• FAQ search now supports multiple keywords & highlights matches.

UX improvements:

• You can now sort journeys, participants, and categories by name or date with a single click – manual sorting is still available, of course.
• Newly created journeys are shown at the top – no more searching!
• Initials are retained when changing a name.
• Annoyed by offline messages while on a boat? You can now turn these off in the settings.
• When visiting the journey selection screen for the first time, an animation will show you how to copy, delete, or archive journeys – many didn’t realize this before.
• When entering a new expense, another animation will show which types are possible – e.g. refunds, money handovers, or ATM withdrawals. That wasn’t clear to many users either.
• Don’t like animations? Just turn them off in the settings.
• New, clearer flow when buying or deleting the last remaining journey.

Design improvements:

• In-app products look way better now.
• Updated button colors and info dialogs.

• Fixes a display issue with the status bar on some Android devices.

• Fixed an issue where PDF and CSV files were not displaying correctly on some iOS devices. The problem was introduced with version 6.6.

  You can now always see how many journeys you still have. The first journey is free, more tickets are flexible – including group tickets, so only one person pays. No subscription, no ads. Never more expensive than a scoop of ice cream.

  Cashinator runs smoothly on the latest Apple and Android systems.
• Calculator Update
  You can now enter refunds directly by clicking the minus sign. The mode switches automatically.
