Cashinator Updates

The big summer update for Cashinator is here!

Thank you so much for your wonderful and numerous feedback! With this new version, Cashinator brings you another set of exciting new features. The journey continues — Cashinator wishes you lots of fun!

• iOS 18
  If you use an iPhone or iPad, you can update to iOS 18 without any worries. Cashinator is already optimized for iOS 18 and ready for the update.
• Payment Methods
  Enter the method you used to pay. Additionally, credit card fees for international transfers are automatically calculated if desired. This ensures fairness.
• Filter
  New filter by payment methods to keep a better track of your expenses.
• Statistics
  New statistics by payment methods also provide detailed insights here.
• Revised Input Page
  The last page for entering new expenses has been completely redesigned. Everything now looks much cleaner and more organized. There’s also no more tedious jumping around if you want to change the title.
• Input Page Option
  The option to skip the input pages is now communicated more clearly.
• Settings with Icons
  Small icons in the settings help you quickly find the desired areas.
• Graphic Insights
  You can now get insights into specific expenses by clicking on the graphics and charts.
• Barcode Scanner
  The barcode scanner has been updated and internally revamped.
• Date Correction
  The date and especially the weekdays have been correctly translated into the English format.
• PDF Improvement
  Instead of listing all names, it now simplifies to "all." This provides a quicker overview, especially in large groups.
• Bugfix Travel Evaluation
  The evaluation was not updated correctly when switching a trip. The recalculation is now enforced.
• Bugfix Duplication
  After duplicating an expense, the balance was updated with a delay — this issue is now a thing of the past.
• Bugfix Travel Budget
  In rare cases, only the current month was used to calculate the travel budget — this issue is now resolved as well.
• Improved Communication
  On the overview page, the term "Transactions" is now used instead of "Expenses."

• The prompt to create a backup kept appearing even when declined. This issue has now been resolved.
• If you first selected a category for new entries and then entered the title, the chosen category was reset. This will not happen anymore.
• The button for specifying distributions has been enlarged, as many new users previously overlooked this feature.

• New smartphone? Switching from Android to iOS or vice versa? No problem! Easily transfer your travel and group data via a QR code to your new device.
• New backup feature! Your data is now even more secure. Save a new personal backup key so you can restore your device at any time, independently of iCloud, in case you ever lose it.
• The Household Cash Check is now also available in the PDF.

• Bugfix: Recurring expenses were not automatically created under certain conditions.
• Bugfix: Disabling the automatic category selection within the settings section had no effect.
