Cashinator Updates

Cashinator 6 is here! Some of you have been waiting for this for a long time - just in time for the Easter holidays, many of your eagerly anticipated features are launching alongside a fresh and high-performance foundation. Let the games begin:

• Recurring expenses for monthly rent or annual taxes
• Revised central input window with optionally pre-selected distributions
• Flexible customization of desired input details (location, photos, categories, ...)
• Integrated calculator for easy splitting of expenses among different individuals
• New search filters for filtering by photos or recurring expenses
• Direct input of desired amounts in the search filter
• Improved CSV export with entry of notes, city, country, and 0-EUR expenses
• Technical overhaul for fast loading of travel and group selections
• Statistics take into account the selected sorting of participants
• Upgrade of the technical framework to the latest version for improved security, performance, and graphics
• Fixed issue when adding multiple photos to an expense
• Fixed issue when using the slider in the distributor screen, which could lead to incorrect expenses
• Revised information texts to facilitate getting started with the app

As an exception, this update only affects Android systems, as performance losses and errors relating to notifications have been noticed here recently.

• [Android]: The startup speed of the app was almost halved due to various techniques.
• [Android]: Unfortunately, there were issues with push notifications on some devices under Android 13 and Android 14. You can now allow Cashinator to inform you about added or changed expenses via push notification in the Android settings again.
• [Android]: Cashinator now informs you about news after every update.

• [iOS]: PDF creation with images only worked after a PDF without images was created. The issue is resolved.
• [Android]: Under Android 14, PDF creation was not possible. The issue has been resolved.
• [Android]: The export directories for PDF and CSV files have been placed in internal directories to avoid requesting additional and unnecessary user permissions. Export now occurs through opening or sharing files.
• Translation errors in the statistics have been fixed.
• The app no longer crashes when attempting to restore purchases that were never made.

• Number of transactions per page is now adjustable.
• Month names in the filter are now correctly translated.
• The internal system for the affordable in-app purchases has been completely redesigned to comply with new policies.
• Purchases can now be restored on the Prices & Packages page.
• Fixes in the Cashinators settings options.
• Various corrections in the English version.
• Improved readability in some areas.
• The maximum length of participants and households has been increased to accommodate all users.

• Integrated calculator: When creating a new expense, you can now directly calculate multiple values. All of this runs smoothly in the familiar flow without additional windows or cumbersome additional buttons that open a calculator. Add, subtract, multiply, or divide a few values and enter the result with a click into your expense - as intuitive as before.
• Households: In the 'Who was paid for?' step, you can now easily choose an entire household or exclude individual household members from the payment.
• What doesn't fit is made to fit: Previously, excessive amounts were broken in an unsightly manner. This no longer happens.
• Some changes regarding the wording, especially in the English version.
