“General bug fixes” doesn’t tell the story. Here you’ll find detailed release notes for every version — performance, new features, bug fixes, and design improvements.
Especially interesting for Swiss friends: For new expenses, not only the daily exchange rates for 'foreign currency to EUR' are synchronized, but also 'EUR to home currency'. This ensures that your statistics in all currencies are now perfectly accurate, and there are no more discrepancies between your devices. In the past, there were occasional issues, especially with home currencies that did not correspond to EUR, particularly in terms of balancing.
You can switch between price and quantity notation for exchange rates (1 EUR = 1.02 USD | 1 USD = 0.98 EUR).
If you always pay everyone and find the money distribution page unnecessary, you can deactivate it in the expense handling settings.
The cash check has been redesigned: The order of checking off settlement payments no longer matters. In the past, this often caused justified confusion.
Receipts and photos can now be included in the PDF on request. By adjusting the image quality individually, you can even optimize the file size for sending via email. Please note that this feature is in beta and may still be somewhat unstable.
Participant filter for categories: You can display detailed information for each person on how much the travel expenses are in a category, city, or country.
Less is more: The page for entering money distribution has been reduced to the essentials and is now more user-friendly. It only appears when it is really needed.
Load old splits: When entering new expenses, you can now click to load one of the previous splits. This will be applied to the current expense amount.
In addition to percentage or absolute split, you can now specify arbitrary "parts" of the persons. Cashinator automatically converts them into percentage values.
A chart visually shows you the current distribution.
Are the vibration patterns bothering you? You can now disable them in the settings.
The statistics can now also be accessed through the expenses tab.
In some cases, some cities appeared multiple times in the evaluations. This issue has been resolved.
