“General bug fixes” doesn’t tell the story. Here you’ll find detailed release notes for every version — performance, new features, bug fixes, and design improvements.
You can now create CSV files of all expenses. This allows you to analyze your data as you wish with Excel, Numbers, or the software of your choice.
If you have already given a tip and are asked to pay for your new trip or group, you can now convert your tip into free trips. Cashinator wants to remain fair, convey thanks to all donors, and not unnecessarily charge them. Additionally, the communication of the payment model within the app has been improved and the occurrence of tip dialogs has been reduced - you can even deactivate them completely.
Filtering expenses of a shared cash register is now possible. This way, you can see when the cash register paid for someone.
You can now search directly for expenses or locations thanks to new filters and full-text search. Furthermore, the result can be intuitively narrowed down with improved filters by time periods, categories, senders, or recipients.
The keyboard can be hidden by pressing the Enter key after entering titles and keywords.
Since Cashinator not only presents numbers or graphics but also automatically generates intelligent sentences, there are also improvements here. Semantically and grammatically correct, Cashinator now addresses individual participants in the plural, for example, when it is absolutely certain that the participants are couples.
Since Apple has adjusted its prices for in-app purchases in Germany for the benefit of all iOS users, the prices for Cashinator have also been reduced. For example, you can now purchase a single trip with any number of expenses and photos for only 99 cents. To cover ongoing costs and support the further development of the app, we always appreciate a small tip if you liked and helped by a trip and evaluation. You can find this option in the settings area under "Support Cashinator".
You can now duplicate expenses: Simply swipe from right to left across the expense. This is perfect for recurring expenses.
The automatic capitalization of titles has been fixed on some devices.
The input of locations has been revised and is now much more intuitive.
In general, we want to avoid a subscription model or increasing the price, but we have high server and development costs. To cover these, you can now give Cashinator a tip. You will find this option in the settings area.
Finally, you can attach a lot of photos of receipts, invoices, restaurants, or places to your expenses. Cashinator becomes even more colorful with this, expenses can be easily found based on the pictures, and you have a great visual overview of your expenses at all times. Of course, the pictures are synchronized with your friends and travel participants, so at the end of a vacation, you even have a nice summary of the travel expenses. Still anonymous, encrypted, and secure, of course.
Improvements in terms of user experience, such as being able to close windows by swiping down, as you are used to on iOS.
Push notifications are here! If you use the app with friends, you will be immediately notified when someone creates, modifies, or deletes an expense. This is, of course, voluntary (opt-in), works without a phone number, email, or any other registration, and can be turned on and off at any time.
Small visual improvements and bug fixes.
