Time Zone Conversion Previously, the date and time of your expenses were always converted to the device's local time zone. To avoid time shifts when returning home, you can now disable the conversion.
Filter You can now filter by unknown payment methods.
Date Range PDF/CSV You can now select a specific date range to export to the PDF or CSV file.
Expense Details The amount can now be displayed on the last expense page.
Bugfix Expense Details Payment methods will now only be displayed if you choose to show them.
Bugfix Expense Button The most important button in the app was occasionally disappearing. This issue has been fixed.
Bugfix Pie Chart When using many categories, the legend became so large that it covered the chart. This issue has now been fixed.

New App Icon Apple introduced Dark Mode for the home screen with its latest iOS update. It's time for Cashinator to move away from the old icon with a plain white background and launch a modern hybrid icon.
Payment Method Fee For better clarity, the payment method fee is no longer shown as a separate expense, but is now clearly visible in the original transaction.
Payment Method Bugfix A display issue with the exchange rate conversion in the input mask has been fixed.
Pie Charts All categories are now displayed in the pie charts, rather than grouping smaller categories together.
Backup Improved user experience for easier data backup.
Autocomplete Suggested expense titles are now sorted by the most recently used ones.
Group Funds When depositing money into group funds, the general category is now used again.
PDF Bugfix A bug that caused the expense table to run over the page margins has been fixed.
Wording Several texts, especially in the backup section, have been revised for better clarity.

iOS 18 If you use an iPhone or iPad, you can update to iOS 18 without any worries. Cashinator is already optimized for iOS 18 and ready for the update.
Payment Methods Enter the method you used to pay. Additionally, credit card fees for international transfers are automatically calculated if desired. This ensures fairness.

Revised Input Page The last page for entering new expenses has been completely redesigned. Everything now looks much cleaner and more organized. There’s also no more tedious jumping around if you want to change the title.

PDF Improvement Instead of listing all names, it now simplifies to "all." This provides a quicker overview, especially in large groups.
Bugfix Travel Evaluation The evaluation was not updated correctly when switching a trip. The recalculation is now enforced.
Bugfix Duplication After duplicating an expense, the balance was updated with a delay — this issue is now a thing of the past.
Bugfix Travel Budget In rare cases, only the current month was used to calculate the travel budget — this issue is now resolved as well.
Improved Communication On the overview page, the term "Transactions" is now used instead of "Expenses."
New smartphone? Switching from Android to iOS or vice versa? No problem! Easily transfer your travel and group data via a QR code to your new device.
New backup feature! Your data is now even more secure. Save a new personal backup key so you can restore your device at any time, independently of iCloud, in case you ever lose it.
